HOW TO COMPLAIN
by Mel Stein
Tired of complaining about poor service, late trains, cancelled air travel, sub-standard hotels, exorbitant bank charges, unreliable cars – and getting nowhere?
Then HOW TO COMPLAIN is the book for you.
Tired of complaining about poor Sports lawyer, Mel Stein, recounts the story of his life-long odyssey against the world of hotel operators, airlines, retailers, manufacturers, banks and insurers…amongst many others. His personal experiences, sometimes hilarious and always instructive, coupled with actual and precedent letters, gives you the perfect armchair guide to complaining effectively.
Learn that complaining is far more enjoyable and rewarding than litigation…not to mention considerably cheaper!
Mel Stein qualified as a solicitor in 1969 and after cutting his teeth in the field of entertainment law, began representing sports people in 1980. He acted for the great Geordie trinity of Chris Waddle, Alan Shearer and Paul Gascoigne. He is the author of 16 books including biographies of Waddle, Gascoigne, a fiction trilogy ( Marked Man, White lines, Red Card) set in the world of football and the Pocket Essential- How to Succeed as a Sports Agent. He is a regular broadcaster on Talk Sport, Radio 4, Radio 5 and the TV networks. He lives in North London with his long suffering and largely non-complaining (except about him) wife and cat.
